Quantity Surveyors
Our aim is to provide Quantity Surveying measurement services working remotely, such as:
- GIFA’s or just areas and perimeters
- The elements needed for a Cost Plan in NRM1
- The more detailed elements needed for a Bill of Quantities in NRM2 or SMM7
- Any elements requested including pile caps and ground beams, steelwork, bar bending schedules, external works, manhole depth schedules, drainage runs and any reasonable request
We have prepared measurements for extensions, refurbishment, new build residential homes and public buildings such as schools, hospitals, hotels, nursing homes and leisure centres.
We prefer to just measure and send the dimensions back to you to produce your pricing document, but do sometimes produce NRM1 Cost Plans in QSPro or Excel format if we have the time.
Building Contractors – Support for Estimators
If you are preparing to submit tenders and have, or are willing to install, Bluebeam Revu software on one computer in your office, we can save your Estimator time by preparing the measurements needed for your tenders in advance.
While you are busy obtaining prices for one job, we can be preparing the measurements for the next one.
We work closely with Estimators as part of the team and are flexible, knowing that sometimes you will want us to step in at short notice to measure just some of the elements of the job.
County Councils
We can work on an ad hoc basis to prepare the measurement of drawings in Bluebeam as directed by your Quantity Surveyor.
We can help to train staff to use Bluebeam Revu for take-offs.
NRM2/SMM7/Pricing/Pre and Post Contract Services
After producing the measurements for your project we will return it to you. But if you would like pricing and/or pre and post contract services, we work closely with two well established, traditional Quantity Surveying Practices who can provide these services at competitive prices.
