My name is Christine Durrant and I started working in Quantity Surveying in 2006.
I studied for an HNC in Quantity Surveying at Southampton Solent University from 2007-2009 and trained at Andrews Quantity Surveyors in Southampton.
I enjoy working behind the scenes, measuring and helping to prepare Cost Plans, Bill of Quantities or Schedules of Works.
I started Crofton Quantity Surveying to offer ancillary measurement support to companies who were short of staff in the recession. Our clients consist of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies that can sometimes use an extra pair of hands, and large practices in the city who secure projects that require a lot of measurement. We also assist Quantity Surveyors / Estimators who work for Building Contractors.
I am married to a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, John Durrant, and we have two children.
